COVID-19 Information

In an effort to ensure the health and safety of our families and do our part to limit the spread of the Corona virus, the owners and staff of Ray Williams Funeral Home have adjusted the Visitation hours from 5-8 p.m. to 3-7 p.m. effective Friday, March 20.

Extending the visitation hours will allow additional time for family and friends to pay their respects and keep groups to a minimum. Government guidelines are recommending that no more than 10 people gather in groups. Please advise your family and friends to pay their respects, however, to limit their time and allow everyone an opportunity to pay their respects.

Sadly, there has been fast moving developments of the COVID 19, requiring each and every one of us to make many adjustments in our daily lives. These developments have impacted every establishment from schools, churches, restaurants, grocery stores, big and small businesses to transportation.

The funeral industry is no exception. The CDC issued new recommendations Monday, March 16, stating that gatherings of 10 or more people should not take place in the U.S. for the next eight weeks.

We are aware this rapidly changing virus will impact the funeral services industry and how we help our families celebrate and honor the lives of their loved ones.

Ray Williams Funeral Home cares about the families we serve and has begun the required preventive protocols to make sure our facility is clean and all surfaces that come in contact with the public are sanitized daily.
