Harold Arthur Rich was born on
November 9, 1944 to Edna Frances Rich in Neosho, Missouri.
He was preceded in death by his mother,
his father, Mr. Thomas Avery and grandparents, Arthur and Carrie Rich.
Harold was an only child.
He attended the Neosho public schools
until he moved with his parents to various locations in Japan and
Germany where he completed High School training.
Harold was a musician. He played the
saxophone with various bands and vocal groups to include Instant Funk,
Al Green and Teddy Pendergrast. He was a master carpenter.
“Butch”, as he was lovingly called,
professed His belief in Christ at an early childhood age. His presence
inspired and motivated many. He also left a positive impact with each
and every person he came in contact with. For Harold all those that knew
him should continue to Sail on!
Harold leaves to cherish his memory, his
wife, Wilma , two daughters, Necola Avery and Mechelle Johnson, and a
host of other relatives and friends.

in marriage to Thomas Avery. Harold then began to carry the name of
