Bernard "Nut" Clark, Sr. of Tampa passed away Sunday, September 8,
2019. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 14,
2019, at 4:00 p.m. at Allen Temple African Methodist Episcopal Church,
2101 Lowe Street, with Reverend Dr. Glenn B. Dames Jr., officiating.
Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mr. Bernard "Nut" Clark,
Sr. was educated in the public schools of Hillsborough County and was a
graduate of Howard W. Blake, Class of 1960. Bernard was very athletic
and played basketball, football and baseball and continued his love of
sports throughout the years. In 1993, Bernard retired from Delta
Airlines as a Senior Service Customer Agent. He was preceded in death
by: his parents, Vera Clark and Joseph Alexander.
He leaves cherish loving
and devoted memories: his wife of 59 years, Theresa “Peaches” Clark;
daughters, Valerie Clark, Bridgette Blackmon, and Sheryl Clark; son,
Bernard “Tiger” Clark Jr., (Tammy); grandchildren, Carl Gallon Jr., (Ariale),
Brittney Clark-Murphy (Adrian), and Brandon McFadden; great
grandchildren, Ziaire Gallon and Decari Wilson; brother, Conskey Clark;
sister-in-law, Patricia Malphus (Wilbert); brother-in-law, Herbert Jones
Sr., (Oletha); nieces, Valerie Goodman, and LaVonne Nelson (Twain);
nephew, Wilbert Malphus Jr.; and a host of other relatives, friends, the
“Main Street Crew” and the "Delta Crew".
The remains will repose after 5 p.m.
Friday, September 13 at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue.
