Thelma Elizabeth Pierce Pilcher of Tampa passed away Sunday, May 5,
2019. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, May 18 at 2:00 p.m.
at Mount Zion A. M. E. Church, 5920 Robert Tolle Dr., Riverview, FL with
Reverend Conrad Jenkins, officiating. Interment will follow in Rest
Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Sister Thelma Pilcher was a native and
lifelong resident of Tampa, Florida. She was educated in the public
schools of Hillsborough County and was a longtime member of Mt. Zion AME
Church. Mrs. Pilcher retired after 30 years of dedicated service from

Mr. and Mrs. Howard Pierce, Sr. and Elizabeth Matthews Pierce; sisters,
Mozelle Finch, Mary Amaro, Mattie Brown and Martha Golf; sons, Michael
Paul, Wesley Kennedy, Sr. and Reynaldo McQuay.
She leaves to cherish her memory: a devoted
daughter, Deborah Jackson-Pittman (John); sons, Fred Pilcher, Howard
Pilcher Sr., Willie McQuay (Diane), Jerome Evans, Kevin McQuay (Cynthia)
and Gerry F. McQuay (Mercedes); brother, Howard Pierce, Jr.
(Bernadette); sister, Bert Godwin and family; grandchildren, Darrell
Pilcher, Sr., Rhonda Jean (Luis), Vikki Jackson, Latanya Stacy (Johnny),
Michelle Pilcher, Howard Pilcher, Jr., Anwar Pilcher, Stephanie McQuay,
Jason McQuay, Stephen McQuay, Rainer McIntyre, Gerry F. McQuay Jr.,
Nyashia Kennedy and Wesley Kennedy Jr.; special friend, Wanda Starling;
and a host of devoted great grandchildren, great - great grandchildren,
