Mrs. Rosalyn D. Ramsey of Tampa transitioned on Sunday, December 30, 2018.  Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, January 5 at 2:00 p.m. at Mt. Tabor M. B. Church, 2606 W. Grace Street with Pastor T. D. Leonard, officiating.  Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mrs. Ramsey was a native and lifelong resident of Tampa.  She was educated in the public schools of Hillsborough County.  Sister Ramsey was a dedicated and loyal member of Mt. Tabor M. B. Church for over 10 years. She served with the General Mission "Manna Ministry" and was actively involved in the Sunday School Ministry.  Her profession as a painter was highly acknowledged by her peers and staff at the St. Pete Times Forum.

Sister Ramsey was preceded in death by: her parents, mother, Doris Jackson and father, John Weston.

She leaves to cherish fond and loving memories with: her husband of 30 years, Richard Ramsey; two daughters, Doshia Ramsey and Elnora Ramsey; sisters-in-law, Jessie Mae Hunter (Benjamin), Rebecca Bligen (Benjamin), and Mable Jackson; brothers-in-law, Simon Ramsey (Anna Belle), and Edward Gregory Snipe; Godson, Tyree Boone; God-daughter, Nia Canida; God-sister, Cheryl Jackson; special friends, Terri Russell, Lillian Lovett and the Jefferson family; as well as a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.

The remains will repose after 5 p.m. Friday, January 4 at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue.
