Annie Ree Brown of Tampa passed away Saturday, October 14, 2018.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, October 20 at 11:00 a.m. at
Mount Tabor Missionary Baptist Church, 2606 W. Grace Street with Pastor
T. D. Leonard, officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven
Memorial Park Cemetery.
Ms. Annie Ree Brown was a native of Edison,
Georgia and a resident of Tampa for 60 years. She was a graduate of
Blake High School, Class of 1964 (night school) and a member of Mt.
Tabor M. B. Church. Ms. Brown retired from Honeywell (Group Technology)
as a Soldering Board Technician.
Annie was preceded in death by her son,
Rawn C. Brown; parents, George Pittman Sr. and Annie Lou Pittman;
brother, Edward Pittman and sister, Rethema Pittman.
She leaves to cherish her memory: two sons,
James E. Brown III (Karen) of Tampa, FL and Eric Lorell Brown, Sr.
(Sharon) of Hampton, West Virginia; five grandchildren, Brittne Brown,
Byron Brown, Eric Lorell Brown, Jr., Tamara Brown and Djakobi Brown;
three great grandchildren, Andre'Onna and Bre'Onna Brown, and Malachi
McQueen; four sisters, Virginia Robinson, Gwendolyn Scott, Veverly
Johnson and Linda Pittman, all of Tallahassee, Florida; four brothers,
Clifford Pittman (Elsie) of Tallahassee, FL, George Pittman, Jr. of
Tampa, FL, Larry Pittman (Betty) and Tyrone Pittman (Emma) of
Tallahassee, FL; special cousin, Earlene Randolph; special friends,
Katrine Harris, Viola Wallace, Annie Owens and Mary Knight-Malcom;
ex-husband, James E. Brown, Jr. (Sharon), Sheena Brown and Earl
Summerline; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
remains will repose after 5:00 p.m. Friday, October 19 at Ray Williams
Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue and the family will receive friends
from 6 to 7 p.m. at the chapel.
