Taylor Carl Timmons, Sr., of Tampa passed away Sunday, May 12,
2019. A Memorial Service will be conducted Saturday, May 18 at 11:00
a.m. at Mount Tabor Missionary Baptist Church, 2606 W. Grace Street.
Mr. Timmons was a native of Jacksonville, Florida and a resident of
Tampa for 31 years. He was a graduate of Ft. Myers Senior High School
and furthered his education with the University of Miami.
He began his love for football as an All-Star football player with the
Pee Wee little league and later was drafted by the Dallas Cowboys.
Mr. Timmons was a member of St. John Progressive Missionary Baptist
Church. He also enjoyed his second career as a Truck Driver and
Construction Worker, where he worked in the Tampa, FL and Ft. Myers, FL
Mr. Timmons loved cigars and fishing. He will always be remembered as "TC,
Gu-gu pop rock, big Bruh, Taylor, Pee Paw" and as "Coach" from his Tampa
Catholic School. His legacy of love and laughter will forever be
engraved in the hearts of his family and friends.
He was preceded to Heaven by his loving parents, Barney Timmons and
Margaret S. Ledbetter.
He leaves to cherish his memory: his wife, Arlene Timmons; children,
Taylor Carl Timmons, II, Lashundranette S. Sanders (Adrian), William
Edward Daniels, Jr. (Brandi), and Kaytricia Timmons; grandchildren, Jada
Daniels, Ashawndria Sanders, Leadria Sanders, Sevion Daniels, Anaarah
Daniels, Shalaydria Sanders, Aiden Sanders and Vivienne Guess; siblings,
Bonnie Timmons Wheaton (David), Tampa, FL, Margaret Timmons Lockhart,
Ft. Myers, FL, Chyanne Timmons Harris, Cape Coral, FL, McClarey Gibbs
Timmons, North Carolina, Minister Noretha Gibbs Timmons, Tampa, FL,
Edell Gibbs Timmons, Ft. Myers, FL, and Pastor Norris Ledbetter (Nancy)
