Homegoing Services for Mrs. Lillie Mae Barnhill who passed on Wednesday, August 2, 2017, will be held Saturday, August 12, at 11 a.m., at Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church, 4008 E. Cayuga Street, Tampa, FL, Reverend Michael V. White, Pastor, officiating. Interment will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mrs. Barnhill was born September 9, 1931, in Jakin, Georgia to the parentage of Rev. Ezzie and Effie Mae Donalson, Sr.; she has been a resident of Tampa for 64 years.

She was a faithful, dedicated employee of St. Joseph Hospital and retired after 18 years of service.  Lillie Mae was a faithful member of the Mt. Olive M. B. Church where she enjoyed ushering on the Number One Usher Board and serving on the Pastor’s Aide Board until her health failed.  

She was preceded in death by: her husband, Bishop Barnhill Jr.; two children, mother, Effie Mae Donalson; her parents, Reverend Ezzie & Irene Donalson, Sr. and sisters, Ocie Mae Garner, Doris Lippitt and Annie Mike. 

She leaves to cherish her memory: a loving brother, Reverend Ezzie Donalson Jr. of Jakin, GA;  nieces, Jadine Lippitt, Cheryl Lippitt, both of Tampa, FL, Irene Porter (Gerald) of Charlotte, NC, Tora R. Donalson of Donalsonville, GA, Lori Ann Millines of Bainbridge, GA, Rosa Wallace of Arlington, TX; great niece, Allison Lippitt of Tampa, FL; nephews, Johnny Lippitt, Jr. (Kim Suk) of Killen, TX, Ezzie T. Garner, Ronald Donalson, Earnie A. Donalson of Jakin, GA, Timothy Donalson (Arrica) of Dothan, AL, Steven Garner of Tampa, FL, Gregg Pitts (Leddy) of Anderson, SC; Aunt, Helen Jefferson of Tallahassee, FL; Brothers-in-law, Johnny Lippitt, Sr., George Barnhill (Deborah), Freddie Barnhill, all of Tampa, FL, John Barnhill (Mary) of Atlanta, GA; Sisters-in-law, Laura Duncan (Melvin) of South Carolina, and Mary L. Wilson of Jakin, GA; Devoted Cousins, Augustine Nobles (Willie), Ann Fipps, Mary Shorter (Wilbert), all of Tampa, FL, Carmen Cox (Billy) of Lutz, FL; and a host of other family and friends.   

The remains will be repose after 5 p.m., Friday, August 11, at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606.

Family and friends are asked to assemble at Mt. Olive Baptist Church, Saturday, 10:45 a.m. for the service.
