of Tampa passed away Saturday, September 8, 2018. A Graveside service
will be conducted Saturday, September 22 at 11:00 a.m. at Rest Haven
Memorial Park Cemetery, 4615 E. Hanna Avenue with Reverend Prentiss
Davis, officiating. Interment will follow.
Ms. Lacy Curington-Wright was a native of Lake City, Florida and a
resident of Tampa for many years. She was educated in the Public
Schools of Hillsborough County and was a graduate of Middleton High
School, Class of 1946.
Ms. Wright retired after 38 years from Tampa General Hospital in the

husband, Johnnie Wright; brothers, Louis Curington, Purcel Curington,
Alphonso Curington, Sr. and sister, Geneva Curington-Nunn; niece and
nephews, Delores Curington, Louis Curington, Jr., Craig Curington and

Cassandra Nunn-Tucker and husband Maurice, Sr., JoAnn Nunn-Marshall and
husband Curtis Marshall, Jr. who were her devoted caregivers, Sharon
Lewis and husband Oliver Lewis and Stefani Curington; nephews, Alphonso
Curington, Jr., Gregory Currington (Brendolyn), Eugene Nunn (Ruby) and
Alonzo Nunn (Towanda); five dedicated great nieces, Fredrika Curington,
Felecia Curington, Maureen Tucker, Sonya Curington and Tamara
Moore-Hardy (Steve), De'Andra Belton (Cantrell), Anika Davis (Michael),
Michelle Lewis, Jessica Wright (Kalen) and Brittany Nunn; three great
nephews, Larry Curington, Gregory Currington, Jr. (Savina), Oliver
Lewis, Jr., Antonio Nunn, Eugene Nunn, III, Travis Nunn (Brittany),
Curtis Marshall "Curt-Curt" and Maurice Tucker, Jr. (Alicia); additional
relatives to include step-sisters, Pat and Debbie Curington of Lake
City, FL; sister-in-law, Del Curington; the Campbell family of Safety
Harbor, FL, the Brooks family of Tampa, FL and the Guzman family of
Tampa, FL; dear and devoted friends, Catherine Coley, Pearl Moore, the
Franklin Family and Roosevelt Cade; and a host of other sorrowing
relatives and close friends.

The remains will repose after 5 p.m. Friday, September 21 at Ray
Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue.
