Charley Lee of Tampa passed away Wednesday, June 27, 2018. Funeral
services will be conducted Saturday, July 7 at 11:00 a.m. at New Greater
Friendship Missionary Baptist Church, 4413 N. 35th Street, with Reverend
Ronnie Murray, officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven
Mr. Charley Lee was a
native of Pelham, Georgia and a resident of Tampa for 60 years. He was
educated by the School District of Hillsborough County and retired as a
Construction Worker from Hubbard Construction Company. He was preceded
in death by his: father, Marvin Lee, Sr.; mother, Retha Mae Lee; son,
Ronnie Lee; sister, Dorothy Lee; brother, Marvin Lee, Jr. and
granddaughter, Franina Jayne Irby.
He leaves to cherish his
memory: wife, Lomia Lee; daughters, Herley Lyles (Ray), Cheryle Dozier
(Russell), and Jeanise Wimberly; sister, Annie Ruth Lee; grandchildren,
Lomia Stacey Sharpe (William), Terrence Dixon, Rhonda Dixon, Lance
Wimberly-Brim (Liz), Frank J. Irby II (Coretta), and Raelynn Wimberly-Brim
(Rolshawn); aunt, Lillie Mae Foster; 21 great grandchildren; devoted
nieces and nephew, Barbara Ann Nelson, Cleveland Lee, Joyce Green
(Leonard), and Catrice Alexander; a host of great grand nieces and
nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
remains will repose after 5 p.m. Friday, July 6, at Ray Williams Funeral
Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue.
