Valrico passed away Monday, April 8, 2019. Homegoing
Celebration Services will be held Saturday, April 20, at 2 p.m. at First
Baptist Church of College Hill, 3838 N. 29th Street, with
Elder Correggio Reaves, officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven
Memorial Park Cemetery.
Briana Nicole Munns was a lifetime native of the Tampa Bay Area. She
was the daughter of Paterno’ C. (Trina)
Munns and Lloyd (Chip) Sheffield, Jr. and she was lead to Christ at
early age at Bethel Community Baptist Church, St. Petersburg, FL and
later united with St. Mark M. B. Church Port Tampa, Inc.
She was a graduate of Riverview High School, Class of 2017, where she
was enlisted into the Navy JROTC Program; Track & Field #6 and Hurdler
Team. Briana furthered her education at Hillsborough Community College
and was scheduled to receive her AA Degree in Education, Fall Term
She was preceded in death by: her great-great grandmother, T ‘Liller
Jones Pless; and three great grand uncles, Horace L. Pless, Sr., Arthur
C. Pless, Sr. and Otis F. Pless, Sr.
Briana Nicole leaves behind to cherish her memories: mother, Paterno
‘Trina Munns; dear family friend, Howard Word; father, Lloyd Chip’
Sheffield, Jr. (fiancé-Shanise); brother, Zaybrion Christopher Sheffield
and Naomi Sky Sheffield; uncle, Anthony Sheffield; grandparents, Lloyd
Sheffield, Sr. (Dorothy) and Jimmy L. Munns (Annie Laura); aunts,
Tabatha Munns-Wright and Jennifer Munns-Mastin (Ervin); great aunt,
Alvetta Pless Butts; great-grand uncles, Andrew Pless, Jr. (Geneva),
Kelvin Wayne Pless (Deborah) and Reverend Carl Munns, Jr. (Shirley);
great-grandfather, Andrew Pless, Sr.; cousins, Tabatha Artesha Owens,
Edward Jarrod Gilmore, Khalil-Malik Tabias Munns, Gabrielle AnnTrina
Munns and Josiah Owens; her dog, "Champ"; a host of brothers and sisters
in Christ; her St. Mark Sunday School Teachers, Brother Kelvin Preston
and Sister Ramona Smart and Class Mates; Church Mother, Arlianer S.
Smart (William); other cousins, uncles, and relatives; High School best
friends, *Mya, *Jasmine, *Alexis, *Briana, *Millie and *Jari; co-workers
& friends; Bethel Community Baptist Church family and friends; and young
people associates throughout the Tampa Bay Area.
The remains will repose after 5:00 p.m. Friday, April 19 at Ray Williams
Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue.
