James E. Green of Tampa passed away Friday, May 12, 2017. Funeral
services will be conducted Saturday, May 20 at 11:00 a.m. at 29th Street
Church of Christ, 3310 N. 29th Street with Brother Perry Johnson,
Pastor, officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park
Mr. Green was a native and
lifelong resident of Tampa, Florida. He was educated in the School
District of Hillsborough County and attended Robinson High School and
Howard W. Blake High School. Mr. Green was a member of the 29th Street
Church of Christ and was employed as a Supervisor with the City of Tampa
Public Works Department.
He leaves to cherish his
memory: his sons, James Green II and Erick Green, both of Tampa, FL;
daughter, Vaneka Green Aguilera and husband Santo of Apollo Beach, FL;
grandson, James Green III; granddaughters, Erica Green and JayKaylah A.
A. Green, all of Tampa, FL; sister, Catherine Green of Tampa; nieces,
LaShawn Green, and Rayleen Green, both of Tampa, FL; grandnieces and
nephews, Ashley Bates, Shameka Bolden, Nari Green, and Anthony Hayes,
Jr., all of Tampa, FL; great grandnieces and nephews, Dontray Ferra,
Shawn Ferra, and Ambria Hayes, all of Tampa, FL; cousins, Carolyn Warren
of New Jersey, Willie Mae Helms of Alabama, Cheryl Maise and husband
Felton of Lakeland, FL, Felton Maise Jr., of Lakeland, FL, LaToya Maise
of Lakeland, FL, Laura Warren of New Jersey, Rosa Lee Tennielle of New
