Reginald Charles Thomas of Tampa, passed away Sunday, January 28,
2018. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, February 10 at 11:00
a.m. at New Smyrna Full Gospel Cathedral, 5015 N. 17th Street with
Bishop W. L. Lee, officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven
Memorial Park Cemetery.
Deacon Thomas was a native
and lifelong resident of Tampa, Florida. He was educated in the public
schools of Hillsborough County and was employed for many years as a Car
Detailer with Buccaneer Car Wash.
Deacon Thomas was a faithful and dutiful Deacon at New Smyrna Full
Gospel Cathedral. He was ordained by Bishop W. L. Lee on March 23,
2014, where he served faithfully until his demise.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Hawthorne and Americus Young
Thomas; nephew, Eric Pedrosa; uncle, Albert Young of NY and cousin,
He leaves to cherish his
memory: his wife, Rose Thomas; two daughters, Felecia Cohen and husband
Timothy and Tashiba Thomas; son, Reginald Thomas, Jr. and friend, Doris;
brother, Bernard Young; sister, Deaconess Francenia Williams; 16
grandchildren; nephew, Reco Ricks and Nan Johnson; and a host of great
nieces, great nephews, cousins, and friends. Special friend in Christ,
Sister Mary Davis and Phyllis Reed.
The remains will repose after 5:00 p.m.
Friday, February 9 at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue.
