Cynthia O. Levins of Tampa, passed away Thursday, August 3, 2017.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, August 12, at 2 p.m. at
First Prospect Missionary Baptist Church, 6012 Edina Street, Wimauma, FL
with Minister Levern Stephens, officiating. Interment will follow in
Wimauma Community Cemetery.
Ms. Cynthia Levins was a native of Tampa,
Florida and a resident for 66 years. She attended Middleton High School,
and was a member of St. John Progressive M. B. Church. She retired as a
housekeeper for St. Joseph Hospital after over 20 years. She was
preceded in death by: her mother, Minnie Bell Lockett; father, Joe
Levins; brother, Harold "Boo" Levins; sister, Frances "Monkey"
Childs-Dexter; great nephew, Christopher Dexter Jr.; and a loving
lifetime friend, Wilbert "Sonny Boy" Highsmith.
She leaves to carry on her legacy: a loving
daughter, Danielle Shaniece Levins; beautiful and brilliant
granddaughter, Kalina Arriyona Garard; brother, Lewis Mobley; two
nephews, Christopher Dexter (Rhonda), and Michael Dexter; three nieces,
Minini Dexter (Kwame), Gina Dexter, and Faun Dexter-Butts (Michael);
great nieces, Allexis Rhodes, Cierra Dexter, Kalen Vernon and Kyla
Dexter-Butts; great nephews, Chasney Dexter, Jamaal Rhodes, Michael
Dexter Jr., Taylor Dexter, Trevon Dexter, Tarik Dexter, Elioet Butts,
Dallis Butts, Nicholas Butts and Ryan Hemmingway; special cousin, Linda
Gano; and a host of other family and friends throughout the community.
