Carrie L. Davis Graham, passed away on Monday, June 25, 2018,
surrounded by her family who sang and prayed as she took her final
A celebration of love will be held on
Saturday, July 7, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301
North Howard Avenue, Tampa with Rev. Dr. James Leon Gallon officiating.
Burial will follow at Rest Haven Cemetery.
She was born
in Monticello, Florida on December 10, 1938 to the late
Grant and Rosetta Davis. Ms. Graham
was educated in the public schools of Jefferson County (Howard Academy
School). She was converted at an early age and became a member of New Mt.
Zion under the Pastorate of Reverend Bryant in Monticello, Florida.
Ms. Graham later relocated
to Tampa, Florida
and joined First Baptist Church of West Tampa under the Pastorate of
M .C. Johnson.
After relocating to Tampa, Florida, Ms.
Graham worked as a Central Sterile Processing Technician at Tampa
General Hospital, retiring after 36 years. She was united in holy
matrimony to Henry Graham, Sr. To this union was born a son, Henry
Graham, Jr. and a daughter Briggette Graham Coonce.
Ms. Graham was a
sweet-spirited, caring and loving person. She loved to fish and enjoyed
watching her favorite game shows on tv. While unable to attend church
services, she would often watch Joel Osteen for spiritual uplifting. She
never ceased praying for her family.
Graham was preceded in death by: her son, Danny Davis; parents: Grant
and Rosetta Davis; siblings: Howard Davis, Dan Davis, Richard Davis,
Nellie Junious, Rachel Brinson, Ann Means, Rosa Graham, and Irma
Survivors include: a loving daughter,
Briggette Coonce (Reginald); a caring son, Henry Graham, Jr.;
granddaughter, Tova Coonce; grandson, Javon Coonce; nieces, Nellie
Brinson (a devoted and caring caregiver), Betty Farmer (Harold), Flo
Mills (Vidal), Rogina Hannon (Carl), and Patricia Means; nephews, Lewis
Brinson, Jr. (Beverly), Frank Reddick, Deryck Dawson (Janet) and Maxie
Means, several great nieces and nephews; cousins, Curtis and Rev.
Beverly Lane, a host of other cousins in Madison, Florida, Monticello,
Florida and Winter Haven, Florida, and other sorrowing relatives and
