OBITUARY

Ms. Vonceil E. Williams of Tampa, FL, passed away on January 4, 2019.  Homegoing Celebration will be conducted on Saturday, January 12, at 2 p.m. at Mt. Tabor M.B. Church, 2606 W. Grace Street, Pastor T.D. Leonard, Pastor with Pastor Gregory Davis of St. Mary M.B. Church, Arcadia, FL, officiating and Minister William Cade II serving as Eulogist. Interment will follow at Garden of Memories/Myrtle Hill Cemetery. 

Ms. Williams was born in Monticello, FL and was a resident of Tampa for over 70 years.  She was a faithful member of Mt. Tabor Missionary Baptist Church for over 60 years.

Ms. Williams served as a board member of the Carver City/Lincoln Gardens Civic Homeowners Association, member of the Loretta Ingraham Senior Citizen's group and as a member of the Order of the Eastern Star PHA #97 (Associate Worthy Matron).

She retired from Hillsborough County School Board after 31 years of service as a Food Services Manager.  

Preceding her in death were: Eliza Scurry Eagle (mother), Butler Eagle (father), Birthel Eagle (brother), Mary L. Powell (sister), Tyson R. Lucas (great-grandson), Nathan Z. Marr (grandson) and Rollace J. Williams, Jr. (son). 

Pleasant memories and special moments will never be forgotten by her: Dedicated daughter, Carollyn Williams-Marr; son, Gregory F. Williams (Deborah); grandchildren, Natasha Thompson (TJ), Melanese Marr-Thomas (Charles), Dr. Tayanna Richardson (Shawn), Ginnetta Marr-Lucas, Jarrel Williams and Erskine Bell (Kisha); 18 great grandchildren; 6 great-great grandchildren; devoted sister, Janie L. Glen; godson, Dennis Gilbert; special friends, Ms. Helen James, Ms. Mary Walker, and Ms. Emma Allen; and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins, church members, and neighbors of Lincoln Gardens. 

The remains will repose from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, January 11, at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue and the family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.
